Garlic herb crockpot chicken

Servings: 8-10

Ingredients: 

5 lbs chicken (breast or boneless thighs)

4 cups chicken stock

2 bay leaves

1 t rosemary

1 t pepper

1 t rubbed sage

1 t basil

½ t salt

1 t roasted garlic and herb seasoning

What you will need:

Crock pot, cutting board and knife

Instructions:

  1. Remove chicken from package and rinse with cold water. 

  2. Cut off any excess fat or skin you may not want to shred later. 

  3. Add chicken to the crock pot along with all other ingredients. 

  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours until chicken easily shreds. 

Additional recommendations: 

Add some onion or fresh garlic for enhanced flavor.

Enjoy in your favorite soup recipe, add it to some spaghetti squash, let it cool and make it into a wrap for the next day.
